Box-spring beds up to 2.10 m wide, a 15 m² designer bathroom and timber ceilings under the roof – features you would rather expect in a hotel.

Natural materials in the furnishings, our own combined heat and power plant for electricity and heating, and the mountains right in front of the balcony.

Final cleaning, bed linen and towels are included in the price. You arrive and feel at home from the very first moment.

Holiday apartment in Piding: your home in the Berchtesgaden region
Piding lies at the foot of the Hochstaufen, right between the Alpine spa town of Bad Reichenhall and the festival city of Salzburg. From here the Königssee, Watzmann, Untersberg and Chiemsee are easy day trips – and in the evening you come back to a quiet, spacious holiday apartment.
We, Lena Giebe and Dominik Eder, took over the apartments in the Ahornpark in 2024. Our aim: exceptional, close to nature, spotless. You book directly with us – no portal fees, with personal advice and a quick response whenever you need something during your stay. We speak German and English.
Holidays in Piding in every season

Meadows in bloom, the first hikes on the Hochstaufen and quiet days at the Königssee before the main season begins.
- Summer
Swimming in the Thumsee, the Höglwörther See or the Chiemsee, mountain tours on the Untersberg and cool paths through the Almbach and Wimbach gorges.
- Autumn
Clear views, colourful forests and morning mist over the Hintersee and the Saalach – the best time for long hikes.
- Winter
Skiing on the Jenner or the Götschen, winter walks in the valley and then warmth at the RupertusTherme or the Watzmann Therme.

Frequently asked questions
What is included in the price?
Bed linen, towels, final cleaning, water, energy, Wi-Fi and a free parking space are always included. The only extra is the municipality of Piding’s visitor’s tax (currently €1.00 per person per night from age 12).
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 3 pm, check-out by 12 noon. We are happy to arrange other times with you individually.
Can I charge my electric car?
Yes. There is a public EnBW DC fast charger right at the house. Tesla drivers can also use the Supercharger at Burger King in Piding, about 1.5 km away.
Are pets allowed?
No, unfortunately we cannot accommodate pets in our apartments.
Is smoking allowed in the apartment?
The apartments are non-smoking. Smoking is only allowed on the balcony.
How do I book?
The easiest way is our enquiry form, by email to reservierung@domena-living.de or by phone. You will receive a personal reply with availability and price. After you confirm, a 20 % deposit is due, the balance 30 days before arrival (see our terms).
